Debra Anderson is an accountant, tax agent and MYOB cloud specialist. She has over 20 years experience working with businesses of all shapes, sizes and industries. On top of the usual accounting and tax qualifications she also has an MBA and sits on numerous advisory boards of organisations including the Australian Tax Office, MYOB and the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. Her areas of expertise include the setup, check-up and clean-up of MYOB systems, business advisory and taxation services. In 2014 Debra was awarded MYOB’s Online Transformation Award in recognition of her contributions towards MYOB’s cloud solutions Essentials and AccountRight.
Her firm Anderson Tax & Consulting (formally Legally BAS) was established in 2006 and provides MYOB consulting and bookkeeping, onsite training, BAS preparation & lodgement, and income tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
Debra’s first book with practical advice for small business owners on all the financial aspects of their business from business structure right through to putting together a budget and understanding the financial reports is due for release later this year. Keep your eyes open for it.
