The new initiative from the Business Council of Australia asks everyone to commit to three simple guidelines to help fight the spread of COVID-19 and get us back on track.
Recently, the Business Council of Australia (BCA) announced a new campaign to help get the economy moving while fighting the spread of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.
The aim of the initiative is to align corporate messaging across the country around three simple tenets:
“Continuing our successful containment of the virus will help all businesses return to strong operations – and that’s why MYOB is proud to join the BCA’s Good to Go campaign,” said MYOB Chief Employee Experience Officer, Helen Lea.
“The more businesses sharing these messages, the more people will be likely to adopt these good habits and help us fight the virus. That’s good for people and it’s good for the economy,” she said.
The BCA hopes the ‘Good to Go’ campaign can become a unifying catch cry at all levels of business, with the aim of reaching Australia’s entire workforce.
“By continuing to follow the advice of health officials, Good to Go means we can all do our part in protecting the health and safety of workers, customers, and suppliers as COVID-19 restrictions ease,” said BCA chief executive Jennifer Westacott.
“We are encouraging all employers to join the Good to Go campaign, not just Business Council members, and share these important messages with their teams.
“Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, business has done everything it can to keep their workers safe and employed and protect the health of the community.
“People can have confidence that business is putting in place detailed COVIDSafe return to plans across their industries. This means we can continue to operate safely and get more people back to work as quickly as possible. The Good to Go campaign is an important part of this.”
