After receiving a record number of nominations, we are proud to announce the deserving winners of the MYOB Partner Awards 2022, writes MYOB’s Daniel West.
A huge thank you is in order to everyone who participated in this year’s awards.
We were inundated with nominations that recognised our valued consultants, accountants, bookkeepers and educators – those who have excelled in their fields across Australia and New Zealand.
Underpinning this year’s Partner Awards was the theme ‘Thrive and Shine, Together’ – a fitting phrase to recognise the tireless work of our Partner Community, and an opportunity to put them in the spotlight.
It’s clear our winners have been integral to the success of so many businesses, both large and small.
Off the back of two challenging years, their dedication has been instrumental in helping business to grow and look forward.
While their role may often go unnoticed to the public eye, our Partners truly go beyond measure – something we experienced again this year.
The 2022 awards were also like no other, with educators – both institutions and individuals – eligible to win across new categories. We took a broadened look at our industry this year, and the many facets that set businesses up for success.
In addition, the work of our MYOB team has been celebrated via the Ian Berry Award – putting the spotlight on an internal team member who has gone above and beyond in serving our Partner Community.
It is with great pleasure that we announce the winners of the MYOB Partner Awards 2022.

On behalf of the judges and team at MYOB, I would like to sincerely congratulate you on this achievement and thank you for the service you provide to others.
New Zealand Certified Consultant of the Year winner Lynley Averis from AccountAgility comments on the win.
“I was thrilled to win the Certified Consultant category of the MYOB Partner Awards.
“It’s a real vote of confidence in the work I do and in the service I provide to my customers.”
Averis also highlights the meaning these awards bring to the work of recipients.
“The award recognises the importance of being able to provide expert advice and support, and I’m proud to be able to offer that to my customers,” she said.
“It’s also a great way to show other businesses how MYOB consulting can help them.
“I’m passionate about helping businesses grow and succeed, and love to find ways that MYOB software can remove mundane day-to-day tasks.”
Each year, we take the Partner Awards as an opportunity to acknowledge the commitment of our longest-standing Partners through our Service Awards, with prizes offered to those reaching key milestones of 10, 15, 20 and 25 years.
Congratulations are in order for the following loyal Partners:
I’d like to also thank my fellow judges – Greg Ellis, Caroline Rawlinson and Emma Fawcett – for joining me once again to put our deserved winners in the spotlight.
It has been a joy learning about the work and impact of our Partner Community alongside you.
Thank you again to all who took the time to nominate in the MYOB Partner Awards 2022.
Without you, we wouldn’t be able to recognise those who are doing great work in the spirit of helping others to thrive and shine.
See you again for the awards in 2023!
