Senior copywriter Lee Forster gives us the round-up of what inspires him at the moment.
Lee Forster a.k.a. the guy who that guy from ‘Suits’ is based on
Senior Copywriter in MYOB’s creative agency. I produce ideas to help promote, sell and showcase the cool stuff that MYOB creates to make running a business easier. I write billboards, radio scripts, eDMs, press ads, event invites and more.
Okay, so I’m no Mike Ross from Suits, but I do have a knack for remembering facts, names and faces. Some say it’s useless information, but how many trivia quizzes have they won?
I’ve also played soccer for England in the Olympic Stadium, Kiev and at international tournaments in Holland, Belgium and Argentina.
1. I’m listening to a lot of City and Colour at the moment. I’m a massive fan of Dallas Green’s music and his latest album If I Should Go Before You is a gem. I love the chutzpah of a man whose opening track ‘Woman’ is an epic nine minutes long. I mean, who does that?
2. I have a two-year-old son and we love watching a TV show called Hey Duggee. The writing is golden – so funny. It’s narrated by Alexander Armstrong who’s a bit of a comedy legend in the UK.
3. I really loved the ‘David Bowie is’ exhibition that was on at ACMI recently. I’m not Bowie’s biggest fan, but I was blown away. A true genius. We are so lucky to have stuff like this in Melbourne.
