1. Who is eligible for the Offer?

The Offer is available to Eligible Members of the MYOB Partner Program and Eligible Customers in New Zealand.

2. When is the Offer available?

The Offer is available from 9:00am on Wednesday, 1 May 2024 until 5:00pm Saturday, 31 August 2024 (the Offer Period).

3. What’s included in the Offer?

An Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program or an Eligible Customer who complies with section 4 is entitled to pay a reduced price for the base subscription of an Eligible Product until 31 August 2025. The reduced price will be 50% of the standard full price advertised on MYOB’s website for the Eligible Product.

Subject to any limits set out in section 5, MYOB will also provide one (1) digital GiftPay gift card equal to:

  • NZ $250 for each Desktop Product or Manual Solution that is migrated to an MYOB AccountRight Plus or Premier subscription during the Offer Period;

  • NZ $100 for each Desktop Product or Manual Solution that is migrated to an MYOB Business Pro or MYOB AccountRight Premier Only subscription during the Offer Period;

  • NZ $50 for each Desktop Product or Manual Solution that is migrated to an MYOB Business Lite subscription or MYOB Business Connected Ledger + Payroll subscription during the Offer Period; or

  • NZ $35 for each Desktop Product or Manual Solution that is migrated to an MYOB Business Payroll Only or MYOB Business Connected Ledger subscription during the Offer Period.

Use or redemption of any gift card is subject to the terms and conditions of the gift card issuer.

We will assess whether an Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program and an Eligible Customer is eligible to receive a gift card within 90 days after any new subscription has been Activated. Gift cards will be sent to the relevant Email Contact within 45 days after we determine they are eligible to receive a gift card.

4. How to accept the Offer

During the Offer Period:

  • an Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program must:

    • purchase, or arrange for an Eligible Customer to purchase, a subscription for an Eligible Product directly from an MYOB sales representative; and

    • provide MYOB with an Email Contact; and

  • the Eligible Product must be Activated.

Any applicable Desktop Product must also be migrated to the Eligible Product during the Offer Period.

To remain eligible for the Offer, an Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program or Eligible Customer must hold (or continue to renew) their subscription for the Eligible Product until after 31 August 2025.


5. Conditions and Limitations on the Offer

(a) This Offer is subject to the terms of use of the Eligible Product.

(b) The Offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer. For example, it cannot be used in conjunction with a ‘30-day free period’.

(c) The reduced price will be applied to the base subscription fee for the Eligible Product. It will not be applied to additional fees and charges incurred if Users elect to use Premium Features.

(d) Use of Premium Features may attract additional fees or charges, and be subject to additional terms and conditions. For example, these additional fees and charges and terms and conditions apply to the use of Online Invoice Payments.

(e) From 1 May 2024 until 31 August 2024, there will be a limit on the total face value of gift cards sent to an Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program and their customers equal to NZ $2,000

(f) To be eligible to receive a gift card, an Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program or Eligible Customer must hold (or continue to renew) their subscription for an Eligible Product for at least 90 days after the date the subscription was initially Activated and cannot switch from a ‘Partner Pays’ to a ‘Client Pays’ billing model (or vice versa) during this 90 day period.

(g) An Eligible Product may not be a comparable replacement for a Desktop Product or Manual Solution. For example, Users may need to activate Premium Inventory in order to access the same number of inventory items available via a Desktop Product, and will not have access to multi-currency features.

(h) MYOB Business AccountRight customers who use an online payroll product cannot migrate the payroll component to an Eligible Product.

6. What happens at when the reduced price ends?

After 31 August 2025, the base subscription fee for the Eligible Product will automatically revert to the then-current standard full price advertised on MYOB’s website (unless otherwise agreed). For example, Eligible Members of the MYOB Partner Program may still be entitled to a discount based on their membership tier.

7. We may vary or discontinue the Offer at any time. We will still honour the Offer if it has been accepted by an Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program or an Eligible Customer prior to it being discontinued.

8. The Offer does not replace or limit your statutory rights, including your rights under applicable consumer laws.

9. If you accepted this Offer on an unsolicited sales call, this Offer is subject to a 10-calendar day cooling-off period. If you change your mind during the cooling off period and decide not to accept the Offer, you will not incur penalties and any money you have paid to us for the Eligible Product will be refunded.

10. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws in force in New Zealand and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

11. MYOB values your privacy. We may collect and use information about you and for the purpose of administering this Offer. Please view our Privacy Policy for more information on how we collect, use and disclose your personal information.

Definitions

  • Activated means performing at least one of the following actions in an Eligible Product:

    • creation of a manual journal entry;

    • creation of a manual “spend” or “receive” money transaction; or

    • reconciliation of a bank transaction (typically from a bank feed).

  • Desktop Product means an MYOB Business AccountRight or AccountEdge desktop product with selected MYOB serial numbers.

  • Email Contact means:

    • the name and email address for the contact nominated by an Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program if they pay for a subscription to an Eligible Product either for their own use or on behalf of an Eligible Customer; or

    • the name and email address for the billing contact nominated by an Eligible Customer, if the Eligible Customer pays for a subscription to an Eligible Product.

  • Eligible Customer means any customer of an Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program who uses a Desktop Product or Manual Solution for their business.

  • Eligible Product means MYOB Business Pro, MYOB Business Lite, Business Payroll Only, AccountRight Premier, AccountRight Premier Only, AccountRight Plus, MYOB Business Connected Ledger, or MYOB Business Connected Ledger + Payroll.

  • Eligible Member of the MYOB Partner Program means a member of the MYOB Partner Program in New Zealand (including any member of the Partner, Certified Consultant, Bookkeeper, POS or Connected Account Programs) that receives this Offer via a call from MYOB support or sales representatives or via an email quote from MYOB and either:

    • refers an Eligible Customer to MYOB; or

    • uses a Desktop Product or Manual Solution for their own practice.

  • Manual Solution means an excel or google spreadsheet, paper ledger book, or any other way of managing the accounting needs of a business that does not involve an accounting or financial management software solution.

  • Offer means this offer, which is subject to these terms and conditions.

  • User means a user of an Eligible Product.

  • We, us, our or MYOB means MYOB NZ Limited (Company number 902338) of Level 5, Eden 5, 12 Normanby Road, Mount Eden, Auckland, 1024, New Zealand.
