MYOB reveals new exclusive deal with Silverfin to deliver future-proof, AI-powered cloud solution for local accountants

Business management platform MYOB has today announced a 10-year exclusive partnership with Silverfin - a leading cloud-based financial reporting and compliance solution - to deliver a cloud-first, AI-powered compliance platform for local accounting professionals.

With a stellar reputation amongst accounting firms in Europe and the United Kingdom, Silverfin counts some of the biggest names in accounting and professional services amongst its customers, including Deloitte, Grant Thornton, Baker Tilly, BDO, and PwC.

The strategic partnership between MYOB and Silverfin will see MYOB integrate cutting-edge financial reporting, work papers, and AI-powered business advisory tools into its suite, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of MYOB’s cloud offering for accountants.

Customised to meet the specific compliance and regulatory requirements of the Australian market, the new collaboration ensures accountants will benefit from the unrivalled performance of Silverfin’s intelligent, data-driven capabilities, with MYOB’s platform exclusively optimised for the needs of local firms.

MYOB CEO, Paul Robson, says the new partnership is a leap forward in MYOB’s commitment to providing quality, future-proof solutions for accountants.

“We are incredibly excited about partnering with Silverfin to accelerate our delivery of a fully integrated, cloud-first suite of solutions for accounting professionals across Australia.

“Silverfin is a true leader in technology-driven accounting solutions backed by a strong track record. Our partnership will deliver leading innovation that empowers local accountants with a comprehensive solution that will help them to deliver exceptional client services and really thrive in a digital age,” he explains.

Scalable to meet the needs of ambitious and growing practices, innovative new features on offer will include: a new centralised data hub which integrates agnostically with other accounting software platforms in addition to MYOB, an in-built AI assistant which performs automated file reviews to find outliers, errors, and opportunities, an insights and analytics tool to identify trends and benchmark clients to inform advisory services, and in-product collaboration capability so there’s a single source of truth for client files, actions and reviews.

Silverfin CEO, Lisa Miles-Heal, explains that the organisation is thrilled to work alongside MYOB to accelerate the adoption of AI-powered accounting software amongst more practices in Australia.

“Artificial Intelligence will transform client accounting compliance and advisory – from enhancing data accuracy, to providing forecasting analytics and actionable insights, automated file reviews and faster identification of errors,” she says.

“At Silverfin, we’re committed to humanising these digital advancements and ensuring the accountant of the future remains relevant and respected. Through our partnership with MYOB, we are supercharging performance today and shaping the future for accountants across Australia.”
