MYOB has today announced the acquisition of Auckland-based ERP software solutions specialists, Aztech Solutions – adding to the business management platform’s growing pool of in-house sales and service specialists as it accelerates the growth of its direct channel for mid-market customers.
The acquisition will see Aztech’s MYOB Advanced and MYOB Exo specialists and customers join MYOB’s Enterprise division, with a focus on ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) sales and service.
MYOB General Manager for Enterprise - Kim Clarke, said: “The Aztech Solutions team are one of our longest standing ERP partners, with the relationship dating back more than 20 years. With a solid reputation for providing impeccable support to their customers in New Zealand and expert knowledge of our ERP solutions, Doug Jones should be incredibly proud of the business he’s built and we’re looking forward to welcoming the team into the MYOB fold.”
A platinum sales partner for MYOB Exo and MYOB Advanced, and a 2019 MYOB High Achievers award-winner, Aztech has enjoyed strong success since it first partnered with MYOB in 2001, helping hundreds of local New Zealand businesses get the most from their ERP solutions as they chase their growth strategies.
On the news of the acquisition and the move to MYOB, Director of Aztech - Doug Jones, explained: “The future success and happiness of both our customers and our team members was at the core of our decision to join MYOB for this next chapter.
“For our customers, it’s an incredibly exciting time to have a direct line into the best in the business when it comes to ERP solutions. We know MYOB are serious about helping customers realise the potential of more modern, flexible systems designed for the mid-market and seeing the performance and capability of MYOB Advanced first-hand, I strongly believe their focus is set on the right playing field,” Doug said.
“As for our Aztech Solutions team, we have achieved a lot together over the years and joining MYOB is a fantastic opportunity for our people to have access to market leading expertise and material to build their capabilities even further,” he added.
MYOB’s Kim Clarke said that there’s never been a better time to focus on the potential ERP can deliver for the mid-market, with the sights of mid-sized businesses set firmly on finding intelligent digital solutions that will give them an edge.
“2022 is well underway now and we know from our own research just how growth-driven mid-market businesses are, based on the goals they’ve set for the coming months. We also know that there will be strong reliance on having the right technology and connections in place to power their success,” said Kim.
“With ERP software topping the list of business management solutions New Zealand’s mid-market businesses plan to add to or upgrade in their business*, there’s more reason than ever to ensure we’re building a channel which offers unparalleled expertise specific to the changing needs of our customers and helps them to achieve their ambitions.”
