If your business name has changed, you need to let MYOB and those you do business with know. You need to update the business name on the invoices you send to customers and the subscription invoices you receive from MYOB.
This ensures that you have the correct business name on your tax invoices and that your business records are accurate.
Change your business name on the invoices you send to customers
To change the name of the business that appears in your customer invoices and other business forms you send from your MYOB software, change the business name and other business details recorded in your file. The easiest way is to edit your Business settings in MYOB Business or AccountRight browser (Administrator access required).
Change your business name on the invoices MYOB sends you
To do this, send a support request to MYOB. You must be the primary contact to request this change. This is the person who can change the subscription plan, business address, contact details, subscription payment details, and they can pay subscription invoices.

Submit a support request to change your business name
Go to My Account at myaccount.myob.com/account. If prompted, sign in using your MYOB account email address and password. If you have multiple accounts, choose the one you want to change.
Go to the Support menu and choose Contact support.
In the serial number field, enter the serial number of the subscription or product for which you need support. If we know this, we can help you faster.
Enter a Subject to describe your issue briefly.
From the dropdown lists, choose the issue you're contacting us about.
Enter details about the changes you want in the Tell us more field. Don't enter your MYOB password or payment information. Our team will never ask for this information over live chat or email.
When you’re finished, click Send message.

What you do depends on whether the primary contact is still in the business.
The primary contact is still in the business
Get them to submit the support request to change the business name, following the steps in ‘Submit a support request to change your business name’, above.
If the primary contact is still in the business, but they shouldn’t be the primary contact, get them to submit a support request in My Account to nominate a new primary contact. The new primary contact can then request the business name change and be the new point of contact with MYOB.
The primary contact is no longer in the business
If the primary contact has left the business, has died, or no longer has a relationship with the business or its owner, download and complete the change of details form: (Australia | New Zealand).
Email it, along with any required documentation listed on the form, to the email address at the bottom of the form.
